EPEX [‘i:peks] (이펙스), formerly known as C9ROOKIES (C9루키즈) is an 8 members boy group under C9 Entertainment. The group consists of: Wish, Keum, MU, A-Min, Baekseung, Ayden, Yewang and Jeff. They debuted on June 8th, 2021 with the 1st EP Album BIPOLAR Pt.1 : 불안의 서.
EPEX stands for Eight Apex. The meaning of the group is said to be when the gathering of eight youths reaches eight different apexes.

On June 23rd, 2021 C9 Entertainment announced officially on fancafe, EPEX Fandom Name Event. The event closes on the 30th of June.
On July 27th, 2021 EPEX reveal their official fandom name through the 50 days debut VLIVE. The fandom name is ZENITH (제니스). Zenith have the same meaning with Apex (highest point/top of something). So that's mean Zenith and EPEX will meet at the top. It's like "/" (EPEX) and "\" (Zenith) meeting at the top together "/\"
